There is an old fable told about Frederick The Great Of Prussia who, when out walking one day, encountered an old man.  He stopped to ask him who he was and the old man replied  "I am a king".  Frederick taken aback by the reply asked, laughing "And over what kingdom do your reign old man".  To which the old man replied proudly "Over myself"

The best leaders are those who are in control of all aspects of their life.  Just as a building needs a strong foundation so does a business leader and just as the greater the building, the stronger the foundation so the greater the leader the stronger their foundation needs to be.
